Company History

SweepsU.com was initially conceived in 2007 when Gwen Beauchamp (organizer of the 2008 19th Annual National Sweepstaking Convention in San Antionia, TX) approached Gerald Anderson about doing a simple website for the convention.  After throwing ideas around a while they finally came to the conclusion that there was a need for more high-end features in the online sweepstaking community.

Name: Robert Beauchamp
Title: Product Evangelist

Robert Beauchamp watched his wife win prizes for well over a year before he made the leap and started entering himself. When Gwen won their first cruise (Coca-Cola Isle of Dreams, 1989), they sailed the seas with 499 other winners and their guests. It was a Sweepstaking convention on the water. After a week of hearing others tell about their wins, Robert decided he could do this too! His technique is totally different from Gwen’s in that he only enters sweepstakes, but his track record is every bit as amazing. Two of the four cars they have won were from his entries and their largest cash prize, a check for $30,000, was from a field goal Robert kicked during half time at the 1999 Cotton Bowl game. Although that sounds like a contest, he was only allowed to compete because his name was randomly drawn, from there he kicked his way to the finals. Robert has consistently entered and won sweepstakes for over 20 years now. He has won trips all over the world including a trip for three to Paris, France for the World Cup Soccer tournament (Coca-Cola 1998) where his daughter was a ball girl. Most recently, Robert received an affidavit from the ExxonMobil Personal Card $2,000 Daily Prize Giveaway.
