For a fifth consecutive year, Bud Light is filling two Royal Caribbean ships with 5,000 sweepstakes winners from across the country in this amazing giveaway. The national Facebook promotion started last week with consumers rushing to put together crews of people they would like to cruise with. In addition to the national version, local Bud Light Port Paradise Music Festival promotions are popping up around the country. These locals are your best chance of sailing to the Caribbean.

Cruise winners will sail from November 16-19 with stops at Atlantis in Nassau and the private island of Coco Cay in the Bahamas. There will be two days of music and you get to choose which bands will be playing. In the Bud Light Battle of the Bands Contest your vote will help decide which three bands will perform at the 2012 Bud Light Port Paradise Music Festival.  

If you are one of the lucky winners, there will be a charge of $190 per person to go on the cruise. A small price to pay for airfare to Miami/Ft.Lauderdale, a 4-day/3-night Royal Caribbean cruise with meals, gratuities, onboard activities and 2 days of concerts not to mention all the extras Bud Light throws in. Robert and I sailed on the second Bud Light Port Paradise cruise and it was well worth the small amount we paid to be there. Each day Bud Light had gifts placed in our cabin, there were parties sponsored by Bud Light on top of the regular cruise activities and of course we all attended the concert by the Dave Matthews Band on a private carribbean island.

But first you've got to win! So get on over to the the Bud Light Port Paradise Facebook page and set up some crews. The national is a long shot, but you could be one of the lucky few to win it.  For a better chance of winning, you'll need to keep an eye out for local promotions. Monitor a variety of radio stations, search their websites regularly. Get out and hoof it through local retailers that sell Bud Light. These include grocery stores, convenience stores, bars and restaurants. In years past, Bud Light has awarded cruises through parties, call-in to win (radio), drop boxes, mail-in and text to win, so keep your eyes open for anything advertising a Bud Light Port Paradise Sweepstakes that is only open to your area. These are the best opportunities you will have to get on board those ships.
